Sunset Elopement - Mornington Peninsular

Sunset beach elopement with just you and your partner? Heck Yes!!!

I had a beautiful couple contact me saying they wanted to elope on a  Saturday in January 2022 and I had complete control.

They just wanted the beach and they were near the Mornington Peninsula. Now if you’ve been down that way, you’ll know that the Mornington Peninsula is PACKED -I’m talking about sardines roasting on a beach-  from December to February. 

My first reaction was YES!! Let’s do it at sunset, that way it’s the best lighting for the photos. 

In my mind, I had this image of an isolated beach, where the whole world was just about this couple, no tourists in the background or people splashing around in the water during the ceremony. 

One thing I loved with this couple was they were adventurous and happy to go for a bit of a hike. So I found the perfect hidden beach. It was at the end of a long dusty road behind a set of houses. And then about a 10 minute walk through bush but once you saw the view, it was worth the wait!!

BUT 

Finding an isolated beach during school holidays in a touristy area was a challange. Which is why I include venue scouting in all of my packages. This way, I know where the best hidden spots are and you get beautiful UNIQUE photos, rather than the same spots where 5 other couples have been that same day. Or a spot where theres a tonnof tourists watching you get your wedding photos take. (akward anyone?) I want you to have natural, beautiful, authentic, unique photos to remember your day by. So I researched and find the perfect spot for you. 

I believe that every wedding is beautiful and unique and deserves to be treated as such.
