Don’t DYI - Wedding Photography
My husband and I eloped at an Airbnb with just a few friends and family - less than 10 people including us. And it was a beautiful day, complete with a stunning sunset and even a rainbow!
But I didn’t value the most important aspect of the day - the photos and the skills of the photographer behind the camera. My biggest regret from my wedding day is that I didn’t hire a professional wedding photographer.
I figured I was a professional photographer, I had the gear and my close friend had taken great photos of me and had even photographed a wedding before. So I lent her my 20k camera and gear and unfortunately, out of 1290 photos taken, only 25 were clear and well lit :-(
I don’t have any photos of our first kiss, I don’t have any photos of the flowers I brought for the airbnb, I don’t have any photos of our first dance. And it was all because I didn’t hire a professional photographer.
But I don’t want this for you!
-> I want you to have stunning, beautifully lit and clear photos from your wedding day that you can share with your friends and family.
-> I want you to be able to look back in 40 years time and remember the smell of your flowers or the way your husband cried as you walked down the aisle.
-> I want you to remember kicking off your shoes and dancing on the beach at the end of the night.
So when you are booking your photographer make sure they have experience and really value your story. I can never recapture these moments, but it’s not too late for you!
I know how important your wedding photos are and I am so driven to capture those beautiful emotional moments for you and your partner. I love to connect with couples who want to remember their day for years to come, couples who really value and treasure these memories that you spend months planning.
So if you’re looking to book and connect with a dedicated, passionate wedding photographer then let’s chat!
All my best
Michaela
